Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Creative Brackets AB ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Dayboard platform.

By using Dayboard, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree to our use of cookies, you should disable them following the instructions in this policy or stop using our platform.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and provide information to website owners.

Cookies can be "session cookies" (temporary, deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (remain on your device until they expire or you delete them).

3. Types of Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the operation of Dayboard. They enable core functionality such as security, authentication, and session management. Without these cookies, the platform cannot function properly.

Cookie NamePurposeDuration
sb-auth-tokenAuthentication and session managementSession
sb-refresh-tokenSession refresh7 days
theme-preferenceStore theme preference (light/dark mode)1 year

Legal Basis: These cookies are necessary for contract performance and cannot be disabled.

We also use your browser's session storage for dayboard_attribution, which holds the campaign tags of the current visit so they can be saved with your account if you sign up. It is cleared when the tab closes. Your cookie choices are kept in local storage as cookie-consent.

3.2 Performance and Analytics Cookies

These cookies collect information about how you use Dayboard, such as which pages you visit and if you experience any errors. This helps us improve our platform's performance and user experience.

Cookie NameProviderPurposeDuration
_gaGoogle AnalyticsDistinguish unique users2 years
_ga_*Google AnalyticsStore and count page views2 years
_gidGoogle AnalyticsDistinguish unique users24 hours
_clckMicrosoft ClarityPersist the Clarity user ID across visits1 year
_clskMicrosoft ClarityConnect multiple page views into a single session recording1 day
CLIDMicrosoft ClarityIdentify the first time Clarity sees a given user1 year

Legal Basis: Consent. You can opt out of these cookies.

SessionRewind, our session-replay tool, works the same way and needs the same consent, but stores its session data in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie.

With analytics consent, dayboard_attribution (see 3.1) moves to local storage and gains a random anonymous ID, so the first visit we saw is still known if you come back later. It is kept for up to 90 days and removed if you withdraw consent.

3.3 Marketing and Advertising Cookies

These cookies measure the performance of our advertising and let us share who converted with the ad platform so it can optimize delivery. They are a different purpose from the analytics cookies above, need their own consent, and are off unless you opt in to marketing cookies specifically.

Cookie NameProviderPurposeDuration
_fbpMeta PixelDistinguish unique users for ad measurement90 days
_fbcMeta PixelStores the click ID from a Meta ad you arrived from, so a sign-up can be matched to that ad90 days
frMeta PixelAd delivery and measurement90 days

Legal Basis: Consent. These are not set until you opt in, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

3.4 Functional Cookies

These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization, such as remembering your preferences and settings.

Cookie NamePurposeDuration
user-preferencesStore user interface preferences1 year
dashboard-layoutRemember dashboard customizations1 year

Legal Basis: Consent. You can disable these cookies, but functionality may be limited.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on Dayboard are set by third-party services that appear on our pages:

4.1 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our platform. Google Analytics sets cookies to collect information in an anonymous form, including the number of visitors, where visitors have come from, and the pages they visited.

4.2 Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our platform through session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity sets cookies to collect information in an anonymous form, including pages viewed, clicks, and scroll behavior.

Learn more: Microsoft Privacy Statement

4.3 SessionRewind

We use SessionRewind to record and replay visitor sessions so we can see how the platform is actually used and fix what's confusing. SessionRewind stores its session data in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie.

4.4 Meta Pixel (Facebook)

We use Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and understand how visitors interact with our site after seeing an ad on Facebook or Instagram. Meta Pixel sets cookies and may share data with Meta for ad targeting and measurement purposes.

Learn more: Meta Privacy Policy

4.3 Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to manage analytics and marketing tags. This service itself doesn't collect user data but facilitates the implementation of other tracking services.

4.4 Stripe

Our payment processor, Stripe, may set cookies to prevent fraud and ensure secure payment processing.

Learn more: Stripe Privacy Policy

4.5 Supabase

Our authentication and database provider, Supabase, sets cookies for authentication and session management.

  • Accept cookies only from specific sites

Here are links to cookie management in popular browsers:

5.2 Opt-Out of Google Analytics

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5.3 Opt-Out of Meta Pixel

You can control how Meta uses your data for ads in your Facebook Ad Settings, or opt out of interest-based advertising generally via Your Online Choices.

5.4 Impact of Disabling Cookies

Important Notice:

Blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using Dayboard. Disabling other cookies may limit functionality and personalization features.

6. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers incorporate a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. Currently, there is no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals, so we do not currently respond to DNT signals.

7. Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
